Job description

The Technical Program Manager guides and coordinates the NPI team to project completions. The Technical Program Manager is responsible for managing all new product design and factory automation projects. Plans, schedules, conducts, and coordinates assigned team members and engineering work; mitigates schedule risks and resolves or escalates resource conflicts; monitors work for compliance to product requirements, applicable standards, and accepted engineering practices; ensures effective communication and coordination on assigned programs between all disciplines and all other project participants. Responsible for continuous improvement to the phase gate process and other related Apex processes.

Job requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical-related experience
  • Experience in Microsoft Office and Project Management tools (Zoho, Wrike, etc.)
  • 3 years of technical or project management experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability and willingness to learn new terms and objectives
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 years of technical or project management experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Hybrid product engineering experience
