Description
The Intern Program Manager supports the NPI team in coordinating project activities and learning program management fundamentals. This role assists in planning, scheduling, and tracking tasks for new product design and factory automation projects under the guidance of senior team members. Responsibilities include:
· Support project coordination by helping organize schedules, meetings, and documentation.
· Assist with risk tracking and resource alignment under supervision.
· Monitor progress to ensure compliance with product requirements and standards, escalating issues to mentors when needed.
· Facilitate communication between team members and stakeholders to maintain alignment.
· Participate in process improvement discussions and contribute ideas for enhancing workflows such as the phase gate process.
· Learn program management tools and practices through hands-on experience and mentorship.
This internship provides exposure to cross-functional collaboration, engineering processes, and program management best practices in a dynamic product development environment.
Job requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
US Citizenship is required
Major in engineering, Business, Project management or technical-related experience
Experience in Microsoft Office.
Strong analytical skills
Ability and willingness to learn new terms and objectives
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Professional presentation skills
